Having a roof over your head and food in your stomach are what we’d all likely call the basic necessities of life. Something that unless it’s missing, would be hard to relate to. For Patricia she arrived at school exhausted, clutching her colicky baby. Her landlord had illegally cut off her water and hydro, leaving her helpless. She was cold, hungry, and overwhelmed. All she wanted was a warm meal for her baby and to give her baby a bath—but she had nowhere to turn.
