What you need to know

1) What can I expect on the day itself?

  • Mass celebrated by His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto
  • A simple gathering with refreshments at the Cathedral courtyard after the Holy Mass

2) Is there parking available?

There is no on-site parking at the Cathedral. Several public parking garages and paid lots are located within a short walking distance. Please allow extra time to find parking, particularly on weekends.

3) How do I get to the Cathedral by TTC?

The Cathedral is easily accessible by TTC. Take Line 1 to Queen Station or Dundas Station, then walk approximately 5 minutes to the Cathedral. You may also take the 501 Queen or 505 Dundas streetcars, which stops nearby.

4) Will seating be reserved?

No. Most seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

However, due to limited seating capacity in the Cathedral, early registration is encouraged.

5) Can I take photos?

Yes! Photos help capture and celebrate the event’s milestone. Please tag @sharelifecan on social media and use the hashtag #ShareLife50.

Note: Photography is expected. If you do not wish to be photographed please let a ShareLife staff know.

6) Can I bring my family and friends?

Yes! This Mass is open to all parishioners in the Archdiocese of Toronto. However, everyone needs be included in your RSVP/registration so we can plan accordingly.

7) Is there a charge for this event?

The event is free, but registration is required for planning purposes.
